Sailing tours in Costa Rica

Wanted to let you know that escorting is legal in Costa Rica and although we don't provide escorts we do provide sailing cruises, snorkling and "Hookah Hibiscus" in Playa Flamingo Costa Rica. When traveling to Costa Rica for vacation you will find many resorts that are "all inclusive" that means your meals and drinks. If you book a resort that offers that be certian to check the location of the resort. Some are inland and a distance from the sea, but if your doing a volcano or zip/ecco tour that's what you want. A lot are in issolated spots so unless you hire a driver or rent a car you will not be able to walk to a store or village and driving is a scary thing in Costa Rica. Cows standing on the highway, with no warning, day and night. Pot holes will rip the front end off you vehicle.

You can find many nice and clean hotels in every beach city and village from $30.00 usd to $500.00 a night. The food at the "inclusive" places are terrible and many clients have told us the food we serve is the best they had while at the resort. And we are the only boat that serves a hot lunch included in the price.

Hookah diving is diving with a power snorkle. An engine floats on a platform with the pump and filter and send down 7psi of fresh air so 2 people can dive to 110 feet. But with this system we can supply up to 4 divers to a depth of 40 feet and the system will supply air, continously, for 3 hours. Snorkling with out every having to take your head out of the water.

Our business has just completed it's First Year in business and we are looking forward to next year. We're pulling the boat out of the water to do a new paint job and many repairs to get the boat back into the conditon it should be in. When the boat was orgionally built, in South Africa, it cost $2.5 million dollars but, after sailing around the world and then sitting with out up keep for 10 years it did not look like the boat it had been.

Next season the boat will, again, be in the condition it was when it was new. We are doing major overhauls on all the boats engines, sails, sail drives, our salt water/fresh water conversion system, paint, varnish and a million other little details that have been ignored. Just like detailing a car only it's a sea going house thats 48 feet long and 20 wide. So, please, come down and join us for a tour, half day or full day or private charter.
