Marketing is marketing. It doesnt matter what you are trying to get in front of a customer (client) it is clear concise repetitive advertising that gets the first contact. I dont mean you need to Spam forums or post new ads everyday but you need to stay fresh and current.

I put a few ads on Craigslist at first and got bottom end clients so I stopped using it. Since then I have developed my own web site, keep ads on 4-5 escort sites and now about 75% of my appointments are regulars.

I had a client do a marketing study for me and it helped me to raise my rates by about $50 a visit.

This all doesnt happen overnight, it takes a while to get the good hobbyists to contact you.

Find your clients, target your advertising to them, be great at what you do and they will want to soend time with you.

I started on Craigslist too. It was pretty bad. LOADS of time-wasters, and there was one incident with a "cop" who became really clingy and paranoid. I blocked him completely, and it made me realize how unsafe I was actually being. So I left CL and happened to find this site. But I haven't had any users even CONTACT me. I guess my profile isn't that interesting, which I'm going to have to work on. I realize I haven't been on here for very long, but I would've hoped to receive at least one interested person.

I'm also working on my website, but I have to admit I am not very savvy when it comes to website building. I'm really hoping I'll get someone soon who is interested. Lol

I've learned that SEA is a piece of the puzzle. You have to have yourself out there on multiple sites, have your own site, and do some selective advertising. I no longer use CL as its just time wasters and wierdos anymore.

Regulars make you the most money. The consistent man who wants to see you who makes an appointment and shows up is the best.

It takes a while for the hobbyists to accept you and want to check you out.
