Jokers and Time Wasters

I have been learning the hard way about men who get a kick out of sending escorts on a wild goose chase. After arriving at the location I am often kicking myself for not checking things better.

so here's what I'm learning (remember I'm pretty new to all this so, haven't got the screening down pat yet).

1. If the guy says he's at a hotel - get his room #. Ask him if he's in the room, if he says yes, put him on hold and call the hotel and ring the room. If the guy doesn't answer or someone else does - he is not serious about meeting. (in fact he might be trying to set someone up for an embarrassing situation).

- if the gentleman states he's not at the hotel yet, ask him to call you when he's checked in. Get his name and call the hotel desk and verify he is there. (that is if he says he's not at the hotel but he has a room). Also ask him to tell you whats across from or near the hotel, even if you know it. if he is very vague or doesn't know tell him you wont be able to find it unless he can tell you. If you aren't familar with the hotel, call the desk and ask if what he told you is correct (ie. there's a McDonald's next door).

2. Always confirm right before you leave for a session - talk on the phone, tell him you're on your way and should arrive in approximately xxx minutes. Half way to the location (if its not very local), call him, tell him you're getting close. If he doesn't answer the phone, tell him to call you back asap. if no call after 15 min, try calling again. If still no answer, turn around.

any other advice to add here? as I said I am still learning.

Hi Danni... I am sorry that such things happened to you. Fortunately, I have never experienced such thing yet; and I do thank God for that. The Bot Gays and Ladies that I meet are generally on time. Sometimes, I find my client waiting for me.. Rarely, someone gets late by half an hour, at the most; but I can manage with that...

hi,i not have too many problem but when i get e mail from this web i usually ask client to sms or call me at my mobile.As most my client from oversea this is good to see if the client serious about meet me if he sms or call me before he arrive in Thailand.When client arrive I ask he to call me from hotel,then i ask for room number and call he back to room.Most people i see are genuine and i have alot repeat client but with new client i usually ask for sms or call as not many not true client want disclose they sms number to me via call or sms if they just want play some game.

Hmmmm... Anna, your method of getting confirmed is certainly very useful and reliable too... Danni, I think you should try the same... It does sound pretty flawless to me... Have fun!

I've had a bad experience from such a time-waster yesterday night and it is my first experience. I'd many good and respectful thoughts about gays before this; because all those gentlemen whom I've served have been punctual and kind. There was never any problem about payments or money. Yesterday was my bad day!

This guy had been writing to me for the past one month. Finally, we decided to meet yesterday night. It was supposed to be a 3 hours appointment. He kept calling me from different public phones and made me wait for almost 45 minutes at a busy street. I should have understood it in the beginning only that he is a fake, because he always refused to give me his cell phone no. And yet, my own financial troubles drove me to the extremity of believing someone, who proved to be a FAKE!!! I'll be careful in future...

There will always be jokers and time wasters among hobysts here at website. When this happen to me, I put member on ignore list and also warn other girls here in Bangkok. If they do with me, they will do with others.

I sometimes have to double book in order to make sure I not waste my time. Making schedule toughest for me. This site make me very popular, so I rarely get chance to check messages or post here in forums. Sometimes too popular that I do not get chance to even see family.

I. sorry what happen with you client but i think that sometime everyone get client same this.I never go meet someone if they not give me hotel room number first then i call and confirm name hotel and room number,if i not able to confirm then i not go.I have many e mail from people who like make booking many week advance before they say they become BKK and many people very true anfd honest but I always ask if they can talk via sms as this is for time waster not option as they not like give number they if they time waste,then i ask they call me when they check in hotel,then i call back confirm that they stay hotel.This work ok for me.I want say most people ok and not make problem but if i get e mail here but no sms then or call then no call when they stay BKK then i know it someone like play game.Happy New Year..

When we all have a full day. I can had an entire list of jokers. There was some guy calling me recently from a blocked number early in the morning recently...
I got curious and answered one day and he offered me 40 bucks because he just wanted to meet me in his truck.
Hilarious. That's what I get for the answering the blocked call. But the real nerve of it, is that he would think anyone would me him for 400 bucks with no phone number or name so why 40? Yes FORTY!!!!

I recently had a guy call me and say he got my number from another online site which i am listed on, he even quoted my page name and ad number.

He called and we arranged a session for a night during the week at the hotel in which he was staying. He then gave me his cell phone number, and told me to call at 11.30 am on the day of the booking (it was to be an overnight job and it meant i had to organise a LOT of things to get it done)

The day of the booking arrived, and I rang his number at the appointed time. To my absolute surprise an elderly asian lady with barely any english skills answered the phone..... obviously I had called a wrong number.

I then called the hotel he said he was staying at. The very lovely receptionist informed me that there was no guest of that name staying there, and then she checked the arrivals - he wasn't due to arrive in the next 10 days either.


I was so angry that this man had wasted so much of my time, that if he ever contacts me in future, he will not be making a booking with me!!!

as someone who is relatively new to this kind of work, this was disappointing, but I haven't let it get me down however, I have updated my website and have started advertising on other sites and forums.... yes im an optimist, and I'm hoping to get some really worth-while clients!

always ask for their address and landline number and first and last name that matches it,if they are not willing to give it ,pass,.This is obviously needed if you are going to visit them at their residence,if they are wanting incall still ask for their first and last name and verifiable LandLine number{this can be varified by calling directory assistance,then when they show up ask for picture id,this must have their same name and address,I hope this helps

I can certainly understand how this can be a very troublesome (and annoying) situation. Yes, I absolutely agree that it is best to get things confirmed in a concrete way before actually going to meet. Although some people probably do this for fun: as the OP stated there are absolutely signs to be aware of; I think some people are just busy and probably have other things on their mind and are therefore just a bit in their own world. Of course some people also think that you should be available anytime that they wish and don't consider that you may be busy as well. These types are also vague and I've found if they cannot give something solid within a few emails (or calls) then it is best to let it go....and for politeness sake just tell them to contact you with the proper details when they are ready (if you are no longer available, that is unfortunately how it goes). Ultimately, though it differs by situation, I think that this applies to any kind of business. I just try to stay positive and not let anything get to me :)
